The warning comes just days after two UK hospitals were forced to shut wards
A Cambridgeshire hospital has issued an urgent warning after an outbreak of Norovirus in UK wards. Addenbrooke’s is asking visitors of patients to avoid the hospital if they are struck down by symptoms of the highly contagious bug.
The nasty winter vomiting virus can cause stomach cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting. The bug typically lasts between one and three days.
