Australia has had a particularly bad flu season because the H3N2 virus mutated AGAIN from what was produced in vaccines. Of course, physicians are still recommending that everyone get it for protection from the other strains in it, but now adding “if you do get it (H3N2), it will make the case less severe.” Is there any truth to that? I heard this argument for the first time last year, but prior to that, it was either “it works or it doesn’t work.”
