All three recent cases were fully vaccinated, county official says

The county health department is warning the public to be on the lookout for mumps symptoms as the region’s largest number of cases tallied in the past 25 years continues to grow.

On Tuesday, the county Health and Human Services Agency notified the public that three people at three different campuses across the region have tested positive for the highly-contagious viral disease that commonly causes fever, headache, earache and inflammation of the salivary glands.
